    Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is a multifaceted healing art which uses the essential oils of aromatic plants and trees to promote health of the body and serenity of the mind. As a hands-on therapy, it combines the physical and emotional effects of massage with the medicinal and psychotherapeutic properties of plant essences. Due to their tiny molecular structure, essential oils applied to the skin can be absorbed into the blood stream. Unlike chemical drugs, essential oils do no remain in the body and leave no toxins behind. They have been used for centuries to reduce stress and tension, refresh and invigorate the body, soothe emotions, and clear the mind. They can also be used as air fresheners, house cleaners, and cooking.
